"I’ll start by taking it back to the first time I put on my Duke jersey before the exhibition game against Western Washington. It was a crazy moment for me. I had always wanted to put on a Duke jersey and I had to take a moment and think about all the hard work I had invested and all the people who had helped me get to that point. To this day, every home game when the hype video comes on and they announce our starting lineup, I get chills just hearing the crowd and seeing Coach K. It’s everything I’ve dreamed of and more. I think about all the great players who have come before me and played for Coach K and gone on to do great things. Just to be a part of that brotherhood and fraternity — sometimes I can’t believe I am here."
